Village President Paula McCombie and the Board of Trustees announced that the Village obtained a grant for 65 gallon recycling carts for residents. The recycle carts were distributed to residents late summer and the program resulted in a number of residents expressing their appreciation.
As a reminder, the 18 gallon bin will no longer be used, except as overflow when your new bin is full. You can keep it or put it out with a note for Groot to take away permanently
South Barrington is in the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County.
